Bolder-I was founded with a simple goal: help healthcare practitioners spend less time on documentation and more time caring for patients.

Across the healthcare system, physicians and care teams are overwhelmed by administrative work, often spending hours each day charting, coding, and completing documentation long after the last patient has left. The burden of documentation has become one of the biggest contributors to burnout in medicine.

Bolder-I was created to change that.

Our platform, AI Powered Exams, uses advanced artificial intelligence to support clinicians throughout the entire patient encounter, capturing conversations, generating documentation, and completing clinical workflows in real time.

The result is a simpler, more efficient way to practice medicine, one that allows clinicians to focus on what matters most: their patients.

Our Approach to Healthcare AI

Artificial intelligence has enormous potential to improve healthcare, but only when it is designed to support clinicians rather than replace them.

At Bolder-I, we believe AI should work quietly in the background, handling the administrative and documentation tasks that consume so much of a clinician’s day. The goal is not to change how medicine is practiced, but to make it easier for clinicians to focus on the patient in front of them.

AI Powered Exams was built with this philosophy in mind. The platform captures and organizes clinical information, generates documentation, and supports decision-making while leaving the clinician firmly in control.

Technology should reduce complexity, not introduce it. By designing AI that fits naturally into existing clinical workflows, we aim to create tools that clinicians trust, adopt quickly, and rely on every day.

David Robie, Co-Founder

DAVID ROBIE

Dr. Dave Robie is the co-founder and Co-CEO at Bolder-I and assists his clients in creating transformative solutions to products and processes using artificial intelligence. He previously served as the COO of Innoflight, where he improved the operations of the company, and as Senior Director at General Atomics, where he built the company’s space business to over $100M in annual revenues. Dr. Robie retired from the US Air Force and holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech. He has conducted research and supported technology transition at GA, Innoflight, Booz Allen Hamilton, the Air Force Research Lab, and Air Combat Command. Dave is also a military and civilian pilot with over 10,000 flying hours.

Molly Gimmel, Co-Founder

MOLLY GIMMEL

Molly Gimmel is the co-founder and Co-CEO of Bolder-I. She also co-founded and built Design To Delivery Inc (D2DInc) into an award-winning firm that provides program and acquisition management support services to government agencies. Molly has been working in the field of government contract and acquisition management since 1991. Before co-founding D2DInc in 2001, she spent eight years working in the government practices of three of the “Big Five” accounting/consulting firms. She is the author of “Master Your Mindset: How Women Leaders Step Up” and is a past National Chairperson of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).
